Indigenous Friends of the Mau Forest (IFOTMF) joins fellow Kenyans in strongly condemning the ongoing police brutality that has led to the extrajudicial killings of innocent young citizens. The broad daylight shooting of Boniface Mwangi Kariuki, the recent torture and killing of Albert Ojwang while in police custody, and the killing of three Maasai Indigenous People by police officers in Lulkuruk Village Transmara amid a land dispute are all blatant violations of the right to life. This right is not only enshrined in the 2010 Constitution of Kenya but also guaranteed under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We call for accountability, justice, and immediate action to end this culture of impunity. hashtag#SayNoToPoliceBrutality hashtag#RespectHumanRights hashtag#SanctityOfLife#

It is high time we condemn these.
